Blessings mommas!

Running after kids, cooking dinners, teaching them what not to say and why it is wrong, all while being a Godly example to our children can be HARD work! I am always working on being a better mother and the bible is a great place to read inspirational scriptures to keep me going. Below are a few and I hope they inspire you too!

They may not be doing it now, but one day they will realize the care and sacrifice that moms provide. Even if it doesn’t happen until they have their own children!

Isn’t it wonderful that God refers to the comfort a mother provides to describe how
He comforts us!? Amazing!

Children are truly a gift from God! Let us remember this on those days when
our children have us frustrated and stressed out!
We will reap beautiful children for all of the hard work that we put into
raising them with God’s help.
Moms, I honor you for all you have and will do for your children!
Isn’t it a blessing to know that God appointed our children greatness before they were even conceived!? That is such an awesome thing!
What is your favorite scripture that relates to motherhood?

2 Thoughts on “6 Inspirational Scriptures for Mom!”

  • Those are all very encouraging verses. Thank you for sharing them. I guess it's been awhile since I thought of any Bible verses as specifically relating to motherhood… I made up a little packet of promise verses for this purpose some years back; I like to flip through them once in awhile. 🙂

One verse that comes to mind is Deuteronomy 7:13. In response to our honoring God and keeping His commandments, He made this promise: "And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land…."

I also really like Deuteronomy 6:4-9 that reminds us to keep the teaching of God's ways and law as priority in all we do with our children.

  • Beautiful truths here, Chari, and this tired mom surely needed this today! Thank you. These are verses that any mom can cling to and find hope. I am blessed that you took us straight to the Word.
