It is that time again! Our beautiful children are going back to school or have already started. We are placing them in the hands of their teachers and hoping they have a good year and make new friends. Some of us know that is doesn’t always go this way so we must keep our children covered in prayer!
Below are scriptures to pray over your children during the school year!
As our children enter school, they are going to make new friends and keep old ones. Who they spend time with will help shape who they are good or bad. These scriptures are great to pray and keep in mind for our precious children while they are away from us.
As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. -Proverbs 27:17
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! -Psalm 1:1
Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. -Proverbs 13:20
A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need. -Proverbs 17:17
When our children go to school, we want them to make good grades, behave well in class, have fun, inspire others, and be a Christ like example to others. Below are a few scriptures to pray over them.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing. -1 Thessalonians 5:11
Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. -Proverbs 4:25-27
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. -Philippians 4:8
