If you are a mom, you know it is HARD getting me time in! Some of us have just completely given up on it. We say, me time? Momma is supposed to have time to herself? I don’t think so. But it is that way because we choose to make it that way. We don’t make it a priority in our lives.

I want you to think has there ever been a time when you said to yourself, I need to start doing things that I love to do. But without making it a priority you end up exhausted day after day. Today is the day to change that!


  1. Embrace that you do need me time. Instead of brushing it off, embrace it. Acknowledge that for all that you do for others, you deserve and need time to relax and refresh to be a better mother, wife, friend, and woman of God.
  2. Decide how you are going to spend that time. Make a list of the things you like to do and decide realistically what you can do with the free time that you will create.
  3. Evaluate how you currently spend your time. Access your time and see what you may be waisting time doing that you can get rid of or cut short to spend time for yourself.
  4. Plan it. Decide how much time you will spend and plan it each day, week, or month. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
