It is the month of love and my birthday month, yay! I know you have seen the pictures on social media with people receiving flowers, candy, going to the movies, and getting little teddy bears for Valentine’s Day. Even pictures of you all having lunch with your kiddos! I love it!! 

As many of you know right now we’re going through the mom love challenge because we are often showing love to everybody else but not to ourselves.

I think we should be showing love to ourselves like this on a constant basis and not waiting for someone to show it to us. I share some great ways below!

  1. Do something you love often. Think about what you love to do. Write it down and refer to it often. Don’t let your busy life stop you! I love crafting so I am intentional about doing it often. Some people in my Facebook community love DIY projects as well!

 

  1. Pamper Yourself. Think about laying back and relaxing. Ahhh. Getting a massage or buying a massager for yourself. Purchase a foot bath or go to a spa. Listen to some soothing music while you relax.

 

  1. Leave Yourself Love Notes. Write positive things about yourself and leave them around your home and/or office. Read them and smile every time you see them. We write our children and husbands love notes, write some to yourself too!

 

  1. Buy some chocolate. Preferable dark chocolate because it is better for you, has less sugar and milk. I love to treat myself every once in a while, not all the time, with a few dark chocolate chips or Justin’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
